Oolong Tea

A Chinese tea that you brew traditionally and serve without sugar or milk. If you need to sweeten it, add honey to it and take with light dishes as an accompaniment. Oolong tea weight loss benefits are the most recognizable.

  • Measuring Cup and Spoon
  • A timer
  • A mug
  • An infuser


  • 1 Oolong tea loose-leaf
  • Filtered water
  • 2 Cups Water


  • Use an electric kettle that has a temperature setting to boil the water. It would be best if you brewed it within 185 and 208 degrees F.
  • Allow the water to cool for a few minutes.
  • Add two teaspoons of the tea into a mug and add the water to it. Allow it to steep for about 10 seconds. Pour out the water and add another cup of water to the leaves and steep for one minute.
  • ┬áServe the black Oolong tea after the first infusion. (If you need another cup of tea, keep adding 30 seconds to the previous infusing time?


Use filtered water as chlorine alters the taste of the tea.
Serve it plain for the best Oolong tea benefits. Oolong milk tea is possible with very few brands of this tea.
