Step 2: Mix the Oils
Use the ratio of 2 to 10 or 11 when mixing the oils. The tea tree oil should be two drops in every 10 or 11 drops of the carrier oil. Properly mix the oils to ensure safety.
Step 3: Application
Use a cotton ball to do a small patch test to see if you react to the oils. If you don’t, continue to apply generously on your face then top up with a moisturizer.
How to use Tea Tree Oil on Face for Rosacea
Step 1: Preparation
Bring together what you need. You need to have ½ a cup of distilled water, five drops of pure tea tree oil, a tablespoon of calendula oil, cotton pads, and ¼ cup of aloe Vera gel. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and store in a clean glass jar.
Step 2: Application
Clean the affected area with mild soap and cleanse it. Use the cotton ball to wipe on the area with the infection.
